Your success and fun with the guitar are important to me!  I want to help you by encouraging positive practice habits from the beginning.  It is important that each student be prepared for lesson time with the appropriate materials and guitar related items.  Below is a lesson prep video, free printable PDF practice Logs, free printable blank sheet music paper, and local resources for guitar and sheet music accessories.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Have the material from the Free Guitar Lessons page printed out or ready to go (opened up on a fully charged device) for lesson time!  If you don't have a device, please print this out before hand!
The 5 buttons below make up the Salt City 'starter kit' for guitar.  Please print out all the material with extra practice logs and blank staff paper.  I highly recommend buying the flashcard app as it is an invaluable tool for sight reading productivity.

Buy the sheet music you want to play.  You can make an online account at musicnotes.com and get an APP for your device.  You can read purchased music right off the device or choose to print out physical copies.  The Salt Lake City library has loads of great guitar books to find your favorite songs!  You can also visit a local music store to purchase books.

Have a physical tuner and metronome  ready to go (or opened up on a device if you are using a YouTube metronome) for the lesson.  Below are two local options for purchasing these items.  These shops will have all the other guitar related items as well.
